Peng Kuang 邝鹏

I did my PhD in Computer Science at Lund University, advised by Emma Söderberg, Martin Höst, and Diederick C. Niehorster. My doctoral research intersected programming tools, eye tracking, and code comprehension, combining software engineering, neurophysiological sensing, and cognitive neuroscience. I’m interested in multimodal intelligence, brain-machine interface, and VR/XR.

My PhD was funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF), and I received grants from the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), the Royal Physiographic Society of Lund, and the Erasmus+ EUGLOH.

I have a Master’s degree in Distributed Computing from the University of Melbourne, where I worked as a research assistant for Shanton Chang. My master thesis was supervised Leon Sterling and Antonette Mendoza. Before that, I studied at Monash University. I was awarded the International Merit Scholarship by the Faculty of Information Technology and received my Graduate Certificate in IT there.
